The Vilnius International Marathon was originally launched as a 10 km race in 2001. In 2004 it was changed to a marathon.
Vilnius Marathon takes place in Vilnius – one of the oldest, biggest and greenest capitals of Europe.
Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania and is one of the most frequently visited cities of Eastern Europe. It draws attention, not only because of its unique architectural character, but also by its cultural events and attractions.
The route takes the participants through Vilnius old town, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, passing historical buildings, squares and four bridges. The route will also go through Vingis Park – one of the biggest city parks in Europe.
The time limit is 5½ hours.
At Boost Marathon we work hard to ensure correct information, but please check all facts with the organizers before making any arrangements.
