Marabana is a marathon, that has been held every year since 1987 in Havana, Cuba. Havana is the capital city of Cuba and has a population of 2.1 million inhabitants. The city recieves more than 1 million tourists each year.

The Marabana marathon is part of a great project called Marabana or Maracuba – the largest marathon-event in the world. The national event takes place the day before the Marabena Marathon, and is about bringing a message of peace, friendship and solidarity. Around a million runners in the country are participating simultaneously in a 3 or 4 km race.

Runners from all over the world are participating in the Marabana Marathon. The route is beautiful, and goes along some of Havanas famous, historical sights.

Time limit is 5 hours.
