Illionois Marathon is held in Champaign, a city in Illinois in the United States. It was held for the first time in 2009 with a total of 9.000 participants.
The route is flat and fast and takes the participants through the city of Champaign-Urbana. Along the route there are thousands of fans and volunteers. The finish line is placed at the University of Illinois Memorial Stadium.
