California International Marathon was established in 1983 and takes place annually in Sacramento in Northern California.
The route is "downhill" and fast. The participants start at the Folsom Dam and follow an historic route, that the gold miners originally used. The finish line is in front of the California State Capitol.
The time limit is 6 hours.
