Calgary Marathon is Canada´s oldest marathon. It all began back in 1963, where 19 men started – and 12 men finished – in Calgary Marathon with start at Glenmore Stadium. Today there are around 10.000 runners, that participate.

In 2010 the Calgary Marathon won a price as "Best-Road-Race" in Alberta.

The route starts and finishes in "StampedePark". The participants will come through some of the most vibrant inner city neighborhoods, for instance Victoria Park, Bridgeland and Mount Royal. There will be entertainment along the route.

The time limit is 6½ hour.
